Nikon DX AF-S

I'm just about to pull the trigger and order the BMCC, I'm hoping to use the camera to film my final film for my university course (April/May time), so fingers crossed they will have ramped up production and I will be able to get the camera by then.

I have quite a few Nikon DX AF-S lenses that I have been using, which mount will be best suited to these lenses the EF or MFT?

Will I have control over the aperture on these lenses?

I really want to stick with Nikon lenses but after purchase of the BMCC and I will need to get a wide lens, will I be better off getting it with a Canon fitment or Nikon?

I don't think you will be able to have your camera before summer if you haven't ordered it yet.

We are several ten thousands (my personnal estimate) to wait for the BMCC, and many of us think that Blackmagic will spend the year 2013 to fill pre-orders.

I am in the line since last august.

But of course, this is just an opinion. And there might be other ways to get the camera than going to your camera dealer (amazon, ebay, etc). There's another factor too. When I ordered, my dealer told me that Blackmagic would try to send cameras all over the world instead of shipping to few majors dealers like B&H. So if you go to a smaller place you might get lucky.

Both mounts work with Nikon. I use Nikon glass and ordered the EF Version to keep the option to use Canon glass with stabilizer.

As Felix said, both will work with Nikon lenses. As your glass is AF-S they are more than likely "G" lenses without aperture rings. You'll need to make sure you buy an adaptor that can control the aperture. Novoflex and MFT make very good ones else you can look at cheaper Chinese ones on eBay.

On the wide end you could look at the Nikon 10-24mm (not very fast) or the Tokina 11-16mm (there are reports of infinity focus issues tho it seems to be the EF mount).
