Never. We kept the rig up and running streaming wireless video to the directors monitor all day. Only technical down time was when we swapped batteries but the camera stayed on with the internal battery.
Oh and of course the added bonus is the external vmount keeps the internal battery freshly charged. So if your battery fails you can keep recording till the take is done.
It should also be noted the card reader I was using completely failed at the end of the shoot so my transfer speeds may not be accurate.
Though for what it is worth I've been using a program called Teracopy for Windows that is much better than the native OS transfer and does full CRC checking. Has made me a a lot more confident with my multiple backups. Tried using ShotPut for Windows but it has major issues with raw sequences. Would be fine for ProRes.
