It's a XTPower MP-10000 power-bank (10.000MAh 12VDC 37Wh)
http://www.amazon.it/XTPower%C2%AE-MP-1 ... ds=mp10000You will need to build a cable from 2.35/0.7mm (bmpcc) to 5.5/2.1mm (powerbank).
Made a test of the camera outside,
temperature was +5°C (41F) constant. Camera loaded with a dead battery. Brightness set at 100%.
Set in ProResProxy, it recorded a
4 hour 39 minutes before switching off.
Merry Christmas!

I've got this, too. Works great. Be sure to set to 12V. Lanporte makes a specific power cable that connects to BMPCC. I only wish it were longer. It's about 26 inches.

...and on their Website you can find it as "B-Ware" - I don't have the exact translation, but it means, that it can have e.g. a scratch on the box etc for a little more than 30,- eur or if it needs more, than there is a box with 50.000 mAh

I did the exact same thing indoors yesterday (73ish degrees) and only got slightly under 3 hours of record time. WTF!?!

Maybe the Powerbank was not fully charged?

That cable has a L-shaped connector. Did not work if you have a cage.

The (possibly Chinese) producer of this thingie is an impudent liar. The battery is not 12v 10000ma. It's 3.7v 10000ma (which gives 37Wh).
My 400-Rouble (5-Euro) solution is a notebook battery which gave me 14.8V * 4800 mAh = 71 Wh. Really about 60 Wh since it's bought used. It has 8 18650 cells. And you can charge it with your notebook (I have a drone charger for every imaginable charging task).

I've been using my MōVI M5 batteries to power the BMPCC -- just cut the power cord for the camera and soldered on a JST connector. The M5 batteries are nice compact LiPos and will power the BMPCC for several hours.

its not a lie, maybe you don't know how batteries works.
when you put 3+3+3+3Volt you get 12V

Exactly. And stacked into a pack 4 times thicker that this thingie. Battery of 10AH would be about 10mm thick (For comparison: I have an OQO2 and it's battery is 4500mAh and 5mm thick), the stack of 4 batteries would be 40mm thick.

just to add to the discussion - it's a year I have this battery pack and still working flawlessly.
