Hello guys! Finally I created a thread dedicated to my experience with the BMCC. After a long process, finally I'm starting to have good results from my lowlight DNG's. But I will explain that later! I Will mantain this thread full of info, videos, samples, photos and backstage stuff too!

To start, I will just let this Teaser of the test... (in making-of):

(UPDATED)

So guys, I will start with the bad things first!

The first samples (the bad ones from the lowlight thing that I messed up (that's the only justification for a lot of persons...) !), simply... do not use this camera like FS100 or DSLR! Does not work! I have shooted this in this conditions: (from the making of video with a Sony Nex5n Iso1600 18-55 f/3.5):

This is the BMCC at ISO 1600 + Sigma 28mm @ f/2.8:

With 2EV more:

I have some shooted with a 50mm at F/1.4. Just a little bit better...

So... here is a bunch of samples (only with EV ajustment), from DNG to Resized JPG. (later i will had the DNG's)

This is BY FAR the work lowlight that I ever shoot in my life!
Since I'm trusting the LCD screen (it looks ok,dark mood, but ok, recording in film gamma and preview in film gamma too), I just keep going with the shooting! Big mistake!
The only way to get good lowlight with this camera is having REALLY fast lenses in places with a lot of light... If you are using RAW recording! I have made some prores and the quality is very good!
Bassicaly... I have to repeat a lot of lowlight test (this time with a 24mm f/1.4), and I will do it in paris! With the ETTR on my mind! Maximum as possible... I Still think this is a prob/feature of this camera... but... life goes on!
With proper lighting this camera is real good!

Now Daylight samples!

No grading here... No Noise Reduction... Only Exposure... Tomorrow the DNG's. And soon the video.
