Power cable BMMCC

PostThu Apr 07, 2016 9:47 am

Hi,
anyone know of a lightweight power cable for the BMCC?
The included breakout cable is too unwieldily for me to use out in the field, and
I can't seem to find this connector type in any online store?

Best,

The connector is a standard DB15, Radio Shack has them, you need to get a spare power cable to connect to your power source, and solder it to the DB15 connector pins, per the pinout in the manual. There are no commercially made cables available that I know of. I tried to get several vendors to make some up to sell, but could not find one to make them.

I see now that ebay has some available. I figure I should stay away the ones made for VGA?
Still, I wonder if I screw up and short the camera somehow, if the warranty covers that...All I want is to power the camera.
