First BMCC video

This was a great learning experience for me! First off.. I LOVE my BMCC! even with my meager EF lenses it makes my GoPro3 B.E. look like upscaled SD video.. I learned a few things..

1. while I'm still working on getting resolve to work on my underpowered iMac.. I still can use PhotoShop to process the .dng files.. (still learning to use the controls in PS) yup.. I know it's too crushed in some places an even looks a touch green here and there.. that's from me playing with the WB settings.. :mrgreen:

2. I need to learn to adjust the shutter angle to shoot fast moving objects.. a few simple test will take care of that..

Here's the link to the video.. I know the video suffers from my lack of knowledge of PhotoShop.. but here is it anyways..

Nice work! Curious as to what lenses you used on this with the BMCC?

@pavel89l
Sorry. I had to re-upload the video.. the link should be working now.

@Jason,
Thanks! I used a Rokinon 14mm T3.1 Cine lens and a Sigma 30mm F1.4

I just watched the download, full 1920x1080 version. Really, really nice. The detail in the wide shots (presumably from the Rokinon) is really nice. Very sharp. I thought the GoPro held up okay for what it is.

Having moved away from the Atlanta area about 6 years ago after being there a decade, it was nice to see the pines and needles so clearly depicted.

Thanks Jason! I shot that video Tuesday in Shannon, GA.. It is pretty up there.. :) The colors are amazing in Fall.. I'll definitely have to shoot something to show it off!

Nice to see that the footage from the GoPro Black cuts in so well with the BMCC. Thanks!

Thanks Paul... I had to sharpen the gopro video as well as add saturation.. but it worked out well!
