Here’s the latest music video shot on the URSA Mini Pro G2 and the DZOFilm Vespid Primes. One shot DZOFilm Pictor Zoom for the obvious reason. BRAW 8:1 at 24 fps. Edit, VFX, and grade in DaVinci Resolve 17.

Enjoy! And, happy 4/20!

Very nice Tim. Looks like the G2, BRAW, and the Vespid are a match made for this picture - soft yet vibrant colors.

Thank you Ellory! Yeah, the Vespid is a wonderful match with the G2 and BRAW. I did the Color Science 5 switch in Resolve and used the new HDR Palette to grade the images in Resolve. It's an absolutely wonderful workflow.

I'll be very interested to one day put the Vespids on to the 12K sensor. In time I'm sure I'll do that. For now however I'm very happy with the entire set up with the G2.

I can't remember if I shared this or not, this was a short film shot on the Ursa Mini 4K for a candlelight challenge. I ended up shooting in RAW with my 24-105mm at f4. If I had a wider, faster lens, I'm sure this would look better, but as a test of how the camera does with just a candle, I'm impressed.

I am beyond honored to have had the opportunity to be the Director of Photography for the short film "Precognition", written by Jonathan Gonzalez, directed by Jesse Fraire, and produced by the amazing team at Tower Productions!

Jesse was interviewed by Think Shorts, and you can check out the film and interview at the link below.

Got another video for you guys. This one was shot in February, but since it was a free shoot I did for a charity event I had to get to post when I had free time. Was shot with the UMPG2 and the DZOFilm Pictor Zooms. Real run and gun. Edited in DaVinci Resolve 17.
