Just learned of this thread. Here is something I shot with my pocket cam a few days after I got it. And just learning Resolve. Shot with a Lumix 14-42 lens I bought with the camera.

vimeo.com/78105040

On a side note, I have recently use the Zeiss cp.2 lens on the pocket cam for a doc I'm working on and I have to day looks really good! I can't post images from that until the doc is complete. Hopefully sometime in my lifetime!!!

Cheers
Mark

Hi,

I was location scouting for my upcoming short film at north sea.. It was quite stormy that day..
Just three shots of a cabin by the sea.

Would like to hear some opinions.
You can watch at Youtube with full 2,5k resolution.

I want to produce a solitary mood for this film.

Absolutely gorgeous man. I really appreciate you uploading this...helps me pitch to my bosses my need for a BMCC or 4k. Helps that youtube let it upload at 2.5k too!

Not very proud of these 2 but it at least proves that BMCC is a wonderful fast worflow camera when needed :D
Making of photo shooting:
-3 hours of shooting
-BMCC mft with metabones nikon speedbooster + Nikkor 24-70 . manfrotto 501 ; DNXHD filmmod
-no light
-Edit on Avid and color correction in apple color on an old(2005) macbook pro / no calibrated monitor ; all in one day.

Music video Franz is dead / so long my lady:
-get the call thursday , have to shoot saturday so basically no preparation.
-1 day of shooting
-BMCC mft with metabones nikon speedbooster + Nikkor ais 28 - 50 - 85 . manfrotto 501 ; DNXHD filmmod
-no light
-Edit on Avid and color correction in apple color on the same old macbook pro / still no monitor ; all in 2 days.

Since the new youtube is killing my channel "Lobbamobba" I decided to start a brand new one in my own name "Mattias Burling".
I plan to transfer the videos gradually to try and save some of my +1500 subscribers but I have put up one video just to get started.

Its a BMCC vs t2i in ISO 800, not so fare but life isnt fair :)

I have also uploaded my Tutorial on how to get started with color correction of the bmpcc and bmcc without resolve,

and my somewhat hated on "Exposing To The Right Demo"

I made a wacky little entry for Doritos 'Crash the Super Bowl' comp. Shot primarily on the BMCC EF 2.4k with one shot on the Pocket (RAW) - 30fps RAW for all. The crew was just me and my girlfriend who's also in it and was the 'puppeteer' moving the bags around for me. :D

Would appreciate a rating/comment if so inclined (i probably tried to cram in too much story for 30 seconds but oh well) - ideally watch in 1080p but even then it's youtube so... :

https://www.youtube.com/doritos?x=us-en_submissionsphase_10484_

Used an Arri M18 outside the window with 1/4 straw, and two redheads inside to lift ambient and add warmth. The 'sunset' shot was all just available light. Graded in Resolve using a new LUT i'm working on, and i did all the Roto/VFX in Nuke (which i'm starting to LOVE as i learn it). Edited with Premiere.

The Incredible Hunger

Didn't manage to get the VFX shots done in time, so we had to submit it as is... Shot with the pocket, with a few shots from the BMCC.

Damn you guys! Every time I say to myself, "Self, BM isn't going to support their cameras and put in useful options or let their firmware go open source so we can fix it ourselves or tell us when they are going to fix problem A or B or give us an accurate date on a product release- so I'm not buying a BM camera.", you people post some new awesome footage on this thread! How am I supposed to walk away from BM if you people keep posting awesomeness!! :x

For the money, just incredible. For three times the money, incredible. Incredible. You guys are awesome, and so is the camera... :|

Absolutely stunning. Took my breath away. You sir are a true artist (and the camera is the ultimate brush).

BTW, my father collects XKEs. He's got 4, including the one he bought new in 1964.

First time using my precious Kern Switar 10mm 1.6 RX on the BMPCC. While it certainly suffers from vignetting adding a postbox framing on FCP X does wonders. Setting it at infinity and f4 or higher ideal run and gun lens it seems.

Another BMCC test (sorry for that!), but you have to see the beautiful town I live in :D

These are my first shots with my brand new BMCC, so I didn't care too much about framing. Plus, for some shots I would need an external monitor with me, which I didn't have (that's why some shots are a bit tilted! - since it's just a quick first test, I didn't fix the tilting in post).

Enjoy :)
