Ultrascope not working with BBMC 1.2

hello,

I upgrade my BBMC with the new firmware (which is by the way, a great improvement) and everything seems to work correctly, except that ultrascope can't control the camera anymore.
I m on a little production, without external monitor with waveform, so I have to work the old way, with a spot meter and my eyes to trust ;-)
It works, but on more complex production, one need waveforms and controls, which ultrascope provides.

Can someone tells me if I did something wrong, or if my point is correct. (maybe blackmagic are already working on an upgrade of Ultrascope...)
Thanks

You can also use the cam's zebras for controlling exposure.

Yes, thanks

But my remark is more about why ultrascope isn't working? has anybody the same problem, or is it a problem with my configuration?

I was able to link the bbmc with media express on thunderbolt... so it means there is no problem with my computer or my thunderbolt cables. that why I suppose Ultrascope is not working.
I 'm suppose to work again next week, so I would like to have some infos, please...

thanks

Try running the un-installer and reinstalling it via the Firmware update installer.

What do you mean by "not working"?

What error messages are you getting?

hello,

thanks for your answers.

I tried uninstall and reinstall the software. (the hardware is not reinstall-able, no option for that on camera utility)

here is the error message attached.

I wait for your comments.

have a nice day

Just wondering if you have Media Express running in the background when you're opening UltraScope?

No. This screen capture was done with only ultrascope running. No conflict possible.

There are 2 versions of Ultrascopes. The standard version you can download from the BM site is not comparable with the camera. It only works with BM hardware.

The version that works with the camera is installed when you install the camera utilities.

I had a similar issue and was told by BM to uninstall the software and only run the camera utilities installer. That solved my issue.

This post is not anymore a issue!

thanks for your explanation. That was as simple.
One must uninstall all the softwares (camera utility and ultrascope totally) before to install 1.2 firmware.
I must have done it in the wrong order provoking a conflict. My mistake.

for your pleasure, here is a frame of my location shot with the bbmc....
