Using Camera Raw with the dng files

My macbook air won't run Resolve, so while I'm waiting for my BMCC, I was testing a workflow that involves camera raw.

I know I could use after effects to colour correct then output to other formats, but what about Adobe Camera Raw?

I really like using Camera Raw, but I don't like how I have to create seperate files when I'm finished. If storage wasn't an issue I wouldn't care, but considering the file sizes, is there anyway to save your changes to the dng files, that you can later read through after effects to create offline prores files?

Also, while editing with offline files, what would be the best way to go back to the RAW dng files afterwards? I'll be editing with Final Cut.

Philip goes into some detail using Camera RAW and Photoshop Actions or scripts. Im pretty sure when you import DNG sequence into AE you can get a nice working grade by using Camera RAW, and then export out a ProRes file from the sequence.

This video is worth watching.

Using Lightroom but you could just as easy use CameraRAW to do the set-up.

I have noticed a few issues with using the still image processing software Camera RAW / Lightroom on RAW moving images to do with curves adjustments. Adam knows what I am talking about. I will upload an example soon.

My computer is last years MacBook Air, 1.7GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM. Intel HD Graphics 3000

Would it work somehow with this version?

Resolve won't work on the Intel HD graphics cards.
