Maybe the "lucky" costumers who had the camera so early will regret it, since the major issues we are having ( strobe effect, dead pixels, no focus to infinite, noisy fan).

I really hope those can all be solved with firmware updates...or we're in big trouble!

Did no see dead pixels until yet
Infinity problems are also on RED, I work with it If I need it I put outer lens on it..
Noisy fan is totayl not issue it's less noisy then the Red camera's ..beside that I alway's record extern, that's cinema.

So I'm glad with this camera with all the issues I shoot cinema like the 70's and that's what I want..

Nope, still not regretting getting a 12 (or 10) bit camera for £2k. It's worth the wait.

Couldn't agree more, and I only had use of a BMCC generously loaned to me for a few days by DVeStore.com (reluctantly returned it yesterday, whimper ...)

It was stupidly-easy to create very high-quality footage with the BMCC.

I agree with Pollenstudio: 12-bit 2.5K, 10-bit 1080p, 13-stops DR, great software, beautiful high-quality video & audio for $3K -- it's a no-brainer.

Cheers.
