Sorry to come up with that topic again, but there have been lots of these threads to search for a specific list.

Anyone can list approved SSDs that don't drop frames and work perfectly with BMCC.

240-256 Gbs

the best place for this information is BMCC support page:

I would definitely start with the approved SSD list linked to above. Here are a couple other forum threads about SSDs that might be helpful:

I haven't heard one person say that a Sandisk 240gb failed them. Some people have shot and deleted it dozens of times by now.

Wait, it's not even on the list. Is it good for RAW?

Everything I shoot is RAW, and the Sandisk Extreme 240GB has worked flawlessly. Not a single dropped frame.

Sandisk Extreme 240gb is not expensive (compared with another SSD“s)

I had a Kingston SSDNOW V200+ and drops lots of frames (is in the list)
Yesterday i bought a Sandisk Extreme 240 and works perfect, comes with TRIM enabled also...

The problem is TRIM, and its time that we insisted it be added to the next firmware revision.

Christine, would you comment on adding TRIM support to the BMCC?
