What is the build quality like?
Can it take wear and tear?

Cheers

Its built with plastic so very light and fits well.
When a NP-F970 battery is mounted it seems secure enough.
The battery does sit proud at the top as in the photo but much less so if you have a cage on your camera body.
Wear and tear hopefully will be fine too, I can't see anything different than other adapters and have no reason to suspect it won't last. I suppose, given the cost, one could buy more if needed.
Thanks

I know of the IndiPRO adapter. (very pricey, but adaptable)

May I ask what other adapters you have found, LP-E6 to Sony NP-F?
Cheers

I use a Juicebox. I connected the juicebox battery to my BMMCC and VA 5" using a DC Y splitter. I recorded footage nonstop using the BMMCC and VA and was able to get 3 1/2 hours out of the juice box battery on a full charge. Pretty impressive! Goodbye LP-E6 batteries. I'm buying another Juicebox this week so I can have 2 batteries that will power the BMMCC and VA 5". for 7 hours for under $200. You can't beat that!

Does anyone know if the battery information still reads while using one of these?

Will the BMMCC still show the battery % on screen?

thank you.

No Longer Available?

I tried ordering one of these in June 2019. By October 2019 it had never arrived and they never responded to an email. PayPal eventually refunded my money. Never heard from 101 Starving Artist. Not once.

I wouldn't order one anymore.
