Read through this thread I started "Lighting kit for BMCC green screen work?". Quite a few excellent replies in it.

How big is your greenscreen? That makes a lot of difference!

Surprisingly, you can get some pretty good cheap Chinese lights from Amazon.com. The also have light & greenscreen kits.

The two important idea about lighting a greenscreen are (1) light as evenly as possible and (2) light the screen 1-stop below your keylight.

If you do those two things, you won't need to put a separation light on your talent, because you won't have much spill.

FInally, if you have an iphone, ipad or android, get this app: http://www.hollywoodcamerawork.us/gs_index.html it's a scope for greenscreens that makes evening out the light very easy.

Hope that helps.

check my post for the monster bmcc setup http://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5591 or directly go to my site http://www.glazia.com/pages/nice-products.

There are two nice green screens i use myself that are absolutely excellent and have unbeatable value for the money. I suggest you get the more expensive one with the 3 lights.
Good Luck

BTW.
A great light is the LED R300 Ring Light.
Just in case you don't need additional backdrops..

For the cheap, what I do is build a booklight for both left and right sides using nothing more than utility lamps, foam core and thin bed sheets. Maybe costs $80, not including the green screen, and creates a soft, even source for a decent key. Definitely tungsten-balanced light, too. Of course, book lights make lovely keys for talent in confined spaces, too. I know some peeps prefer kino flos for gs, but that stuff gets expensive, you need to hang the lights, not within your budget. In fact, low budget movies shouldn't even be thinking of doing gs, anyway. It just backs up the bad idea of "fix it in post" as a crutch for not commiting to proper filmmaking.
