Can't record RAW videos.

Hi. I have the 1.2 firmware and formatted my SSD scan disk (480gb) in exfat on Windows. I have no problem with prores and dng but for some reason I can't record RAW videos. Only the audio portion in Raw video. Is it the firmware, did I wrongly formatted the ssd? Do I need an external monitor?
Edit: I can watch the RAW video only when the SSD is in the camera. But when I plugged the SSD to my PC, the RAW videos are no where to be found.
And why the files (prores/dng) have a .mov extention?

ProRes videos will be self contained files (video + audio) with a QuickTime ".mov" extension, that's always been like that. It's Apple's codec.
RAW videos will be a series of ".dng" files, one RAW image for each frame of the video. The audio is in a separate file. You won't be able to play the RAW video footage back in a regular player, only preview it in Davinci Resolve, After Effects, or Speedgrade. You can properly play it back after encoding to another format (e.g. ProRes).

Ah ok thanks. So I just uploads the dng files to Resolve or After Effect to encoded them in prores.
Thank you.

Maybe you should read the manual of your 3k-$-device before you start threads with even a misleading headline?
I always am shocked when I read thread-titles like this and think OMG, the BMC is a precious vulnerable diva...
