BMCC 2012 Reel

Having shot with the BMCC since September last year, I felt it was time to put together a quick reel of shots collated from a few projects and a lot of traveling:

More info here:

A selection of shots from projects filmed since I got a BMCC in Sept 2012. Some shots from client jobs, but a lot from travel whilst working last year as the size of the camera meant that I had it with me most of the time. Mostly all filmed in RAW apart from the rehearsal footage which was ProRes Video for quick delivery.

Camera: Blackmagic Cinema Camera (EF Version)
Lens: Tokian 11-16, Canon 17-55 IS, Sigma 24mm f1.8, Canon 70-200 IS.
Post: FCPX & Resolve.
Music: Alan Witts

Very nice natural look!

I wonder if material in reel is in chronological order?

In the beginning material had more wobbliness and not in the end like cam
without and with IS fw ?

yes Margus you're correct. Images at the top of the reel were shot the first weekend I had the camera, mostly all on a Sigma 24mm prime with no IS in the lens or supported on the camera at that time.

later on material gets more stable and pleasant by that.

i never imagined it would have so much effect on material.

I specially like people always on demos.

Hi Marcel,

No this was all done way before I had the SliderPlus and just with my old glidetrack.

Good to meet you out in Dubai. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Keep in touch.
