Possible compressed DNG-Codec for the 2,5k BMCC, too?

Will a firmware update allow to have the compressed DNG-Codec, that is introduced with the 4K-Camera, also for the 2,5k camera?

This was hinted at in John Brawley's post here.

BMD also plan to implement compressed RAW DNG’s in firmware in the future on the BMCC as well and try to unify the firmware across the three cameras.
