Weird Highlight glitch
Posted: Tue Apr 09, 2013 7:47 amI'm well aware of the black sun spots when the highlights are so overexposed that they appear like glitchy spots in the frame.
However, I was playing around with some shots in Davinci when I noticed that an exported clip presented some weird highlight glitches. They were different from the sun spots in the sense that they flash every now and then, even though the exposure was the same. It sort of looks like a falsecolour filter.
When I looked at the original Pro Res clip, the same part of the clip doesn't present any apparent problem. Seems to have something to do with Davinci.
Has anyone seen the same problem?
