I expected to find a discussion about aliasing and olpf, after the recent test charts were posted:

Some people -- more knowledgeable than me -- took the colored aliasing pretty seriously. The chart compared to C300, where the aliasing was not colorful. This could be a problem in certain situations, which might call for the need for a filter on the sensor.

Does Blackmagic address these threads directly?

BMD occasionally posts to this forum, but as this is a public forum open to all, there are many more of "us" than there are of "them".

Your point about the possible need for a OLPF is already on the list, but it certainly doesn't hurt to add your suggestion as a new post in the "Feature Request" thread here:

I'd also recommend contacting companies such as Mosaic to let them know about your needs. They make excellent add-on OLPF products for popular cameras that the end user can easily install & remove as needed. They don't offer one for the BMCC yet, but let them know you want one:
