Sub threads for cinematography

PostFri Apr 19, 2013 12:51 pm

This is a request to Christine and the forum mods if it is possible to organize this forum a little more now with so much going on camera wise in here. Is it possible to have, and others please feel free to chime in with better organization ideas, but for cinematography if we had a division of a thread for each camera? Or perhaps sub threads for audio, rigs, lenses, memory, power, rants, etc etc. Just to make things easier to find. Similar to other cinematography forums instead of having everything to do with everything in one crowded place?
Would other like that or are you happy how the forum is now?

Head over to the BMC user website for more indepth information on everything you'd want. Its a lot more active than these official forums.

+1. I think sub-categories are a good idea.

What they need is a cinematography forum, individual sub forums for each camera, a sub forum for workflows, technique (lighting and composition) and general (including rants and complaints). Then, each camera forum should have sub forums for technical support, newbs and pros so each can engage in conversation that aren't either way over their heads or way below their experience level, respectively.
