audio problem

I'm getting crazy because of many audio problems:

when I put my ch1 and ch2 input levels on 'line' I don't get audio, (neither with the help of a mixer, neither with a direct solution (sennheiser EW100 G3 with lavallier) when I put it on 'mic' I get a free scratch sound, which I hear trhough my headphones.

I have the feeling that the BMCC leaks power that causes this problem.

I have waisted loads of time and I am not getting anywere near a solution.

Am I the only one with this problem?

Can you post some wave samples?

I will, I have to record something first.
I am testing now with the lavallier and it's this:

line: no output what so ever, neither with lavallier or with Schoeps.
mic: just scratchy sounds, very unusable.

Interesting, because I'm getting crazy because of all the redundant posts!

Joking! (Did the form software go wonky, or your browser?)

See Chris Hockings' and others' detailed posts concerning BMCC audio:

(The forum has a search function.)

Perhaps you could delete your redundant posts? Cheers.

Triple-posting happens occasionally. I think it's an issue with the forum and slow Internet connections. No worries, I deleted one duplicate and locked the other since it already had a response.

I think there's no need to upload audio tests, since there's coming nothing out of the camera.
Is it possible that the camera has an internal audioproblem?

Which version of the BMCC firmware is installed on your camera?

1.3

I've given up testing with the Audioroot Femto, that is going back tomorrow.
Now I have started testing the Sennheiser EW100 G3.

I have a -45dB scratchy sound that won't go on the following:

Sennheiser receiver (+6dB) transmitter (-6dB) BMCC 'mic' level, 80% level input

Well, if we could hear the "Scratchy" problem, we might be able to identify the issue.

I just had a listen to the last track. It sounds like you have interference with your wireless transmitter/receiver.

Could you please confirm what exactly you had plugged into the camera for these tests?

interference with wireless audio devices could be the culprit, I would do more testing, But most of us know the new firmware made the audio worse, I would still do more testing before returning the camera.
