BMCC ready to shoot set

PostWed May 08, 2013 1:04 pm

Hi,

I have a budget of 5500€ - 6500€ and I want to buy a "ready to shoot" set including the BMCC 2.5K with EF mount.

I am thinking of a setup with camera cage, ssd/memory solution, battery pack, maybe an external monitor or viewfinder and a good wideangle objective.

Thank you for your help

Everything you're looking for has been extensively discussed in various threads here and on BMCuser... Maybe somebody is willing to do the cut copy paste work for you, but it's asking a lot...

The widest rectangular lens you can get (for the moment?) is the Sigma 8-16mm/4.5-5.6, next one is the Sigma 11-16/2.8. EDIT: it's a TOKINA 11-16mm/2.8

The cheapest battery-solution would be an Astro Anker 3 (powers for about 2-3 hrs) (http://www.amazon.com/Multi-voltage-Rec ... B005NGKR54), which you can fix with something like that onto a rod http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pro-Super-Clamp ... 3b147860b- worked quite well for me up to now.

For viewfinders there's one from munzmachine.com and another one, which I can't recall right now, but here's plenty of threads on that as well as on EVF, just have a little search around and then maybe ask more specific questions.

Are you aware that there's many countries (esp. Europe) where you can't get a BMC off the shelf these days?

If you head over the bmcuser, and look in the For Sale section of the forum.

There is a complete package for sale.
