Goodbye Tokina 11/16

PostTue May 21, 2013 6:08 pm

So, I have the same problem, BMCC gives unsharp footage past 10/15 meters, so it is goodbye Tokina.
What is my solution for a wide angle? I must saw, that coming from photography, I don't like distortion too much

Hi, here's my first post on the blog! :)) I just received my BMCC last week in Montreal,CA. I was also planning to buy the 11-16..I went to the shop & tried the dx I, the dx II and it wasn't focusing at infinite. I know it is possible to send back your BMCC to BMD but I decided to buy the sigma 8-16 4.5-5.6...Not fast but does the job for most situations, focus to infinite & is a lot wider(19mm equivalent vs 25mm for the tokina). Hope this help!
