It is very apparent that if not riggrd to the nuts to keep this tied down, a lens with IS is not only preferable, it is essential.

And maybe another rule of thumb when using the uncorrected Panasonic lenses: avoid horizon lines since they will look curved and especially avoid tilting the camera so the horizon line travels from the upper half of the screen to the lower half since the convex curved horizon will suddenly become a concave curve.

Does this guy know what tripod is? what is the point of releasing footage if its shaky as hell. 2nd footage in the raw. He knows people are waiting for a proper footage, why not shoot something decent so that everyone can actually concentrate on colors and sharpness, dr and noise without getting headache.

With or without IS, is the rolling shutter more apparent on the Pocket camera than on the BMCC ???? IT seems so from the last footage, or?? John?

What I appreciate from John Brawley's footage, is that we are getting a good all round idea as to how this BMPCC will function image wise for run and gun situations.

Yes, this was already discussed. Due to the smaller sensor, the Pocket Cam will have a more apparent rolling shutter effect.
