Pocket 4K HDMI output at 120fps - SOLVED!

I understand that the HDMI output of the Pocket 4K is at 1080p but can anyone confirm the frame rate? Does it simply match the shot frame rate?

My EVF is fine up to 1080P/60 but the Pocket 4K can shoot up to 120fps. On the Post Production forum here someone suggested that the output may not go above 60fps and would just skip frames. This would be great for me as it would mean my EVF would be usable at all outputs.

Can anyone confirm / test the Pocket 4k HDMI output please? (I am stilll in a looooong queue at CVP waiting for mine here in the UK).

Thanks!

BMPCC4k sensor simply cannot read 120 FPS in 4k mode. You have to window it, scanning a 1080 portion to enable a 120Hz rate.

Thanks, I realise that. I am asking about the HDMI output signal though, not the internal recording format.

I want to see if that HMDI output, when recording over 60fps, will still be compatible with my EVF.

That's awesome, thank you so much for taking the time to do that Robert :)

And I am very happy that my existing EVF (electronic viewfinder) will also work with the P4K!
