If the BMCC back screen is dead or broken ?

PostMon May 27, 2013 1:54 pm

Hello everyone,

I'd like to know if there is any solution in the case of lcd back screen of the BMCC is dead or broken ?

If it's just not working we can make the garranty work but if it's broken by falling down ?

How can we set the white balance ? the iso ? is there any solution or we can just put the camera into the trash ?

Thank you for your advices.

Good day to all

The BMCC can't be operated properly without its LCD touchscreen. Most of the camera's features are controlled via the touchscreen graphical user interface.

If your camera's LCD is broken, get it repaired by Blackmagic Design.

If you want to send it back to Blackmagic, they are going to ask you to pay for shipping to them.. I had the same problem with one of my cameras, it's more economical just to return it to the store you bought it from.
