It's been almost a year now. Paid in full to CVP UK, and still no camera. Last time I called them they said the cameras were "trickling in" but still no sign?

What's going on?

they are in stock at major retailers. may want to look their instead.

You can buy mine if you like, i used it for 1 project bought it for that, if you like?

i can make invoice etc. from netherlands.

I've run into places in the US that have a few in stock. Rule Camera in Boston was one. You might call around or email and see who has some on hand.

A few retailers in the US and Japan have them in stock. CVP have not yet filled orders placed in June 2012.

It's not a great situation for EU customers. I cancelled my CVP order and purchased through a friend in Japan.

Why did you pay in full? CVP only required a refundable deposit?

Why sell it? It's a fantastic piece of equipment, used properly!

are you only selling the camera or some accesoires as well?

I was in the same position, having pre-ordered June 8 last year. They simply have so many orders and they're not getting the lions share of cameras. I cancelled my pre-order for the 2.5k and 4k with them and switched to 3D Broadcast. I'm pleased to say mine came within weeks due to their shorter waiting list.

Unfortunately the brand new camera I recieved was faulty, and had to be sent back, however 3D Broadcast have been fantastic to deal with and in organising a replacement, and I'd reccomend them. I'd also be cautious when ordering from abroad because you'll pay more for import duty and if you don't buy warranty you may be liable if the camera is faulty.

I would cancel but the camera was paid for in full using last years budget. If I were to cancel the order I would effectively lose that money (complicated company budget stuff) so I'm tied into waiting for CVP to get more than a few cameras a month.
