Low Light Test Footage

Hey guys,
I'm filming my second feature with the Black Magic Cinema Camera and decided to give it a test run.
The following scene was filmed in ProRes, ISO 800 at 2.8 - 3.5 depending on scene.

All in all, I think it's an amazing camera!

If you're interested in seeing more footage, we got a facebook page up for project at http://www.facebook.com/fieldfreak.

Very nice all around, Stephen. Great framing, editing and low light looks great. I turned off the sound and followed along just fine. Hope your feature goes well.

Hi there,

Great work! Just wondering what export settings you use
to get these sharp results in youtube. I assume you were
shooting RAW? Looking forward to the entire feature.

Thanks guys for the kind words.

Wander,
I edited the clips with Final Cut Pro X, no color correction, just very minor color grading. Exported with one of FCPX presets for like 720p. I'll double check for ya.

Scene was filmed in ProRes, which still blows away DSLR (which is what I used on last project). I wish I could film RAW, but with my minute film budget, I cannot afford the hefty storage.

Thanks again for watching it.

Looks great! I also use my BMCC on ProRes mode for a tight budget production and It gives me way much better result than a DSLR.

Cheers,
