I have been looking for a zoom lens of this quality and ratio for a while for filming fight scenes. I am currently using a BMCC however I will need a global shutter camera or a camera with virtually no apparent rolling shutter effect to achieve the look I am going for. Higher frame rates would be nice, but are not essential.
Is there a global shutter camera that I can use with the OM 14-35mm lens?
My concerns with the BM Production camera are
1. I cannot find an adapter that will give me infinity focus on my BMCC
2. I am worried the full sensor of the production camera will experience vignetting with this lens.
I am open to suggestions to comparable lenses (the canon l series 17-35 is not quite what I'm looking for).
I am also open to suggestions to a camera that may be better for me than the BMPC. I am thinking about a RED, or an F5, but there is a major pricing gap that would like to avoid if possible.
