Well the mft model is a passive mount, so the camera can't "talk" to the lenses. Perhaps this could help, although I don't own any of BMD's cameras so I'm probably wrong.

Yeah I figure the passive part out. My lenses are old canon FD. I was asking for recommendations for this type not eos lenses.

MTF Services has an FD to M43 adapter. Their adapters are not inexpensive but are engineered masterfully.

I got this thing humming good now. On to my Nikon mount. Any recommendations for a good one?

Novoflex and MTF Services would be my first choice. Many have been happy with fotodiox.

On your adapter there should be a screw/rod that's adjustable (on-off), connect your lens and turn it to on. FD lenses don't allow manual aperture control without it being told it's connected to a camera.

Thanks I'm rocking now. I went to adorama and a salesman got me up and running.
