So i came across this one on FB. The owner thought he would give you an inside look at his cam.. :? :? ** Accidentally left on the car roof and started driving..... :cry:

Two of my friends have lost musical instruments this way (putting it on the roof for a moment while they packed other stuff in the car) and then driving off, and another friend destroyed her $10,000 Jeffries concertina by leaving it on the ground at the back of her van when she was packing after a weekend at a music festival and then backing up over it. Based on this I've developed the habit of putting my expensive stuff into the car first before packing anything else into it.

That is why you want all your expensive gear in suitable Pelicases or something. Nothing just laying around in your car..

I think there is more to the story than it just fell off the car on the road. That is massively in pieces.
