Best small camera stabilizer for $600 or less?

PostFri Jul 12, 2013 12:11 am

I'm looking for a stabilizer along the lines of a Glidecam or Steadicam suited to a camera the size/weight of the BM Pocket Camera.

I'm only looking for suggestion and opinions from actual users of these stabilizers.
• It should be readily available (shipping) at this moment
• It should cost less than $600

Thanks.

*the last time I tried this topic it was drastically off topic, so hopefully this one will stay straight.

I've used a blackbird stabalizer for over a year and have got nice results with it. There is no vest or arm, but you could hook up a merlin vest and arm with an adapter.

If you absolutely want a vest with the stabiliser, check out this post. It's around $800 though. http://cheesycam.com/wieldy-dual-iso-ar ... tabilizer/

If you want one that can fly JUST the small pocket camera try to find a Laing P-03. It's a small one with a 4kg limit? Which you prolly shouldn't load too. But it was great bang for 300 bucks.

The Blackbird seems especially nice.
