Resolve 12.5.2 can't find MOV or any video files in Windows7

Hi, I need help I recently re-install windows 7 profx64 (GPU:NVIDIA Geforce GTX 680)and install Resolve 12.5.2 free version, Resolve can be opened but it cannot find any Video files...Please help...

Have you used Resolve before and had it find files? My experience is that if Resolve cannot understand the codec in a .mov file, it will not show up in the file list.

Did you remember to reinstall QuickTime?

I thought this current version included its own QuickTime implementation. If so, (assuming the OP had a previous version working) that may be the root of the problem. Perhaps the new included version isn't supporting some of his files?

Windows 7 is not supported, but if you really want to try to use it, install the Windows patch for H264:

I suspect you are using H.264 files in your mov

It actually was implemented with 12.5.1

"This software update adds ProRes decoding on Windows and no longer requires QuickTime 7 for Windows. Trimming and multicam performance is also improved as DaVinci Resolve 12.5.1 now uses its own native 64-bit code to read and write .mov files. "
