Resolve will not accept files

I have Resolve on three machines and two work fine.

I am a new user and the machine that does not work has never had any Windows 7 software upgrades as it is not on the internet.

Reading suggests this is a codec problem.

I am told I can send you a log. Can you let me know if there is anything special I need to do when creating that log.

W7 is not officially supported.
We recommend and test in W10.

I am not prepared to change my operating system so I must look for help from your users and not rely on Blackmagic.

There are certain updates required for Resolve to work with H264 under Win 7, so I wouldn't be surprised if it needs others to fully work

If any kind soul thought they could learn something from the log I am attaching it.

As mentioned, Windows 7 is not supported.

We know that certain H.264 related files will not work with Resolve 12.5.1 or higher on Win7 without this Windows update being installed: https://support.microsoft.com/en-sg/kb/2670838

If you can't update the PC, you might try Resolve 12.5 and see if that works.

Annoyingly the link to that package has been deleted on that Microsoft site.

Can you think of a way I could find it, please.

In the meantime I am about to install the earlier version of Resolve.

The earlier 5.0 works fine so it must be that file that is missing.

If anyone can point me to a URL that works of that update (and tells me how to install it) my weekend will be a success.

I have not checked all the actions but at least it picks up the files.
