There was a legit bug report in there!
Depth map does not work with vertical (portrait) video.

And it would be nice if you messaged people instead of silently "nuking" a post.

Hey Steve
There was a report of a database issue a few days ago which required the forum be recovered from a backup. A bunch of posts got lost in the process ie those made after the last backup. If your post was amongst those then it wasn't intentionally deleted / silently nuked.
Best bet is to do what the rest of us did, especially if you want BMD to actually see your bug report... repost all the details, especially the steps to reproduce the error, logs if applicable etc.
Cheers
Andy

Was this mentioned on the forum so that users knew that this had happened?
Otherwise posts will have disappeared like this leaving users confused.

It was mentioned in a post - but I'm not sure in what group since I read it on Tapatalk which merges all the posts into one feed.

I just noticed a DM I'd I'd replied to another member with seems to have disappeared (nowhere in the outbox or sent folders, and when he replied, he replied to an earlier message, not the later one)....strange things were going on for a few days on this forum

At the TO: be glad you didn't buy a Red and tried to complain about anything on Reduser.

I've never seen any legit criticism or bug report intentionally deleted here.

Hasn't Reduser gone now? I am sure there were a set of linked forums run by the same people, Dvxuser being one of them, which did have bugs and problems about the site aired. Though, Dvxuser seems to be slowly dying as it reaches its 20th birthday. Which is a pity as it is a general fill makers discussion site despite being DVX.

It's all fine again, but there was an issue at BM's end.

BTW, reduser.net is also still alive, but got a new backend recently. It even remembered our login data, though. While we won't replace our ageing Red cameras, being happy with BM ones, I still like to follow some discussions regarding lenses or general cinematography. There are some very knowledgeable people around there too.
