keyboard shortcut Trim>Trim Start vs Trim>Resize>Start to Pl

keyboard shortcut Trim>Trim Start vs Trim>Resize>Start to Playhead what is the difference between these? The same goes for the Trim End and End to Playhead.

I am looking for a keyboard shortcut to move the selected clips' start point to the played, but that doesn't seem to exist.

Thanks, yeah I messed with that one as well and it just trims the selected clip and moves the timeline down to the playhead. I am looking to move the start of the selected clip to the playhead.

Not exactly sure what you mean? If you are halfway along a clip and want to move immediately to the start of the clip without just dragging the play head then

Playback > Previous > Clip.

My appoligies that wasn't very clear, sorry to spin your wheels without a clear explanation I didn't realize that until you pointed it out. I would like to have the clip down the timeline select a clip and have it move to the playhead. The attached gif is a manual version of what I am trying to do. I have so many clips that turning snap on is a pain because it tries to snap to the start and end of a zillion clips. In another post I tried to find out if there was a way to disable snap for specific tracks which would make dragging a bit easier but still not ideal.

a quick workaround could simply be copy/cut paste i guess. if you need to ripple, you can hold shift while pressing ctrl+v

That absolutely is a workaround. I didn't realize it did that, and so obvious, Thank you! I can easily combine shortcuts into one if I need to with other apps so thank you for that workaround.

Without changing the Duration of the clip, I believe you'll need the mouse.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll go with the cut-and-paste method then.
