Round trip from resolve to Logic Pro x and back?

PostMon May 20, 2024 6:08 pm

Hey everyone long time lurker first time poster. I have a 50 min documentary we are just finishing the picture lock on and wanting to send it off for sound mixing and mastering. Our sound guy is running Logic Pro X. I’m wondering what is industry standard for how to get all media used sent, in sync with video with handles to him for foley and dialogue sweetening and scoring.
I think I’ve seen people use fcp xml. But want to know what the “best way” is. Thanks in advance. Love this community.

Logic supports both Final Cut XML and AAF and Resolve delivers and imports both.

FCPX xml on the Deliver Page is the simplest and most reliable.
The ProTools option in the Deliver Page will do a good job too.
