We need Transcription Window to be dockable

PostMon Jul 17, 2023 8:07 am

Ideally when using a dual monitor setup, the audio transcription window could be on the screen opposite of the timeline. With a floating window, it really is constantly in the way of editing. Especially when using a dual monitor setup.

If you move the transcription window to the screen that doesn't have the timeline, AND you click anywhere on that screen, the transcription window will "disappear" behind the screen. The only way you can retrieve it is to temporarily turn off dual monitor setting and then drag it back to the timeline screen.

This of course is very tedious and again, you don't want to have a floating transcription window on the the same screen as you are editing your timeline.

There is a separate forum for Feature Requests.

viewforum.php?f=33

Best practice is to search first, to see if someone already asked. If not, post one idea per thread with a very brief description of the idea in the thread's title.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
