Resolve Studio 18.6.6 keeps crashing since I paid for it.

I started a project using iPhone footage and it looked terrible on the unpaid version of 18.6. However it looked great with Speed warp and optical flow and of course the watermark indicating that i need the Studio version. So I didn't mind finally paying for it. But when I start rendering with the same speed warp and optical flow it crashes half through. Any help would be greatly Appreciated.

A Windows laptop is not really great for demanding tasks in DR. Are you working in HD or UHD?
Your machine may not be up to UHD. Get the free GPU-Z and observe carefully what your GPU is doing short before the crash.
But then, can you describe what exactly looked so terrible? My iPhone footage looks good without such features.

Thanks Uli, appreciate you replying. It looked awful with rolling shutter, lots of moiré, etc. It was basic iPhone settings, HD, 30 fps.
So I searched around a lot and and decided to use speed warp and optical flow settings on the unpaid version of resolve and apart from the watermark it looked great.
So I paid for Studio and it crashes on me at about 30% during rendering.
The project is about 9 minutes of photos and video which took about 1.5 hours to render on the free version but of course I had the water mark.
The footage looked good playing back on my phone but terrible when I put it on the timeline.

Hi Uli, have downloaded GPU-Z and see how I go.

That shows your onboard GPU and not the GTX 3050 shown in your signature. In Resolve Preferences/System/Memory and GPU, how is the GPU Configuration set? This is mine which I have set manually rather than use the Auto settings.

Thanks, and yes that's correct Charles. Have since corrected that. It also got me looking at a few other settings, so I started a new project using same files and seem to be having more luck.

That driver version shown for the RTX 3050 Laptop GPU (511.69) is way out of date, and may be causing the problem The current one on the Nvidia website is 555.85.
