Huh?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

It is called Resolve 19. You get it by downloading DR or buying DR Studio version. What’s the question actually about?

In Resolve Studio 19, the default video player is integrated into the software itself. You can simply import your video files & can preview and play your video files by double-clicking on them in the media pool.

Do you mean the BRAW player?

Hi
I mean the one that might be embedded for normal usage in DR. Or is it the one present in my PC

DR has its own playback functions, no separate player involved.

There is no embedded standalone player, Resolve has its own playback and processing engine.

After 270+ posts about DVR you're asking this?

Maybe you are confused with the default player in Windows?
Depending on your Windows app status that would be the native Image/video viewer, -or- the resurrected Media Player.

Playback inside DVR is just DVR.
Any video you play outside DVR is played by the app set as default on your system.

Maybe you don't understand the important internals yet. Everything you bring into DR is expanded into a huge space in 32 bit float, and playback has to handle that. No other player than DR itself can do it.

Inside of DR, of course. I just don't understand any more what this discussion is about, sorry.
