Problems with h265 4:2:010 bit files Sony slog3-

PostWed Jul 17, 2024 12:32 am

Hello community. I have recorded clips with my Sony A7iv, with the following configuration: h265 4:2:0 10 bits, profile slog3, and when I import them into Resolve they look crashed. Attached reference screenshot. I am very grateful in advance to anyone who can help me!
Greetings :D

You will need the paid Studio version of Resolve to run those clips.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

This is expected. Resolve Free on windows doesn't support h.264/5.

You and hundreds of others have discovered this and resolve has zero error messages to assist the user in identifying the problem. I have placed a feature request to ask Black Magic to add sensible error messages for unsupported codecs, I would ask you to voice your support as well.
