Test tone generator

Trying to record the oscillator in Fairlight. Arm the track, hit record, it plays out, hit stop, disarm track. The recorded clip stays red and if I click anywhere, the track deletes. How do we keep the recorded track?

Did you patch the test tones? The three dots on the Test Tone Settings screen.

Are you running Resolve 18.6 or 19.0.3?

I'm on 18.6 and yes, the tracks are patched. Video showing it in action:

I don't know if this helps but when I did my test, after patching and arming the track, I could hear the tone immediately. Before I started recording.

Is the target volume local? Is sufficient storage available on the target volume?

Are you able to take an input (e.g. microphone) and successfully record a pass?
