Can't select tracks since upgrade to 19.1 bld 12

Hi there,

I'm not a pro level user but have been on Resolve for over a year now. Upgraded to 19.1 last night and now today I can't seem to select tracks (V1, V2, V3 etc).

Anyone facing same issues? ...or know what I've done for this to happen?

Using mac Studio.

I’ve found that I can select tracks by using the keyboard Opt-1, 2, 3 etc… but not by clicking on the v1, v2, v3 boxes

If you mean destination track, then they changed the way it works now. You right click on V1, V2... (A1, A2,...) and then in pop-up select source track (from what you have as a source) - that will go to the corresponding destination track.

thank you! An odd 'improvement' essentially adding an extra step to the selection. Anyway, thanks again!

It's actually improvement if you have multi-track source (timeline loaded to source for example) with several tracks of video/audio - you can now choose what particular track to take from source and where to place in your destination. Other than that - extra step, agree.

Thanks so much Tomahawk! That's just reduced my irritation level to normal after trying to select audio track 2 and recording a good bit of silence. Mind you, there are many who'd say that was an improvement.
