Green bars all over my footage??

PostMon May 27, 2024 3:15 pm

I have been working on a project for about a year now and today I noticed green bars all over my footage. It's only in Resolve, though. On the external drives, the clips all play back fine. I also noticed little black lines and dots appearing randomly throughout the project, and some text tracking I did in Fusion was distorted and broken. Is something wrong with my GPU? This started happening randomly.

Having this same exact same issue. What are your system specs? I'm running a late 2020 Macbook Pro with an AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB graphics card. Restarting my computer seems to make it go away.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Those looks like hardware graphics card memory corruption.
As it disappeared after reboot I would say it's heat related.

Yeah, looks like a dying GPU to me.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

This is a pure driver issue, it's the same in Premiere Pro:

Thankfully, in DR you can fix it dy merely sweeping off the current clips render cache.
15y Premiere Pro user. Started to learn Resolve.
