I have a travel laptop based on Intel Ultra 7 258 and the Arc 140 GPU. Works quite nicely for small projects with basic grading and about the same performance as my 6600 desktop for some AI functions.
Just installed V20 and the UI experience is much worse. Have just tested a few things but for instance magic mask 2 UI is very annoying. When I place a dot, Resolve goes "not responding" and UI returns to life about 5 seconds after having place the dot even though there is hardly any load on GPU nor CPU and plenty of memory left. Then tracking that worked at an adequate 5-8 fps, now shows o fps. Yes, it moves and it does not crash, but huge drop in performance, probably partly because the GPU is not kept working.
Did a render test of a video with reasonably heavy grading including a magic mask 1 (yes they seem to work still in 20) and render time went from 8:30 to 8:40 so that side seems rather stable, no performance improvements but not a huge drop. So mainly found the UI behaviour to have gone a bit downhill.
I'm on latest Windows 11, and Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6559.
Here is what the task manager shows in terms of performance during magic mask tracking, as you can see the GPU load fluctuates madly..
