Subtitles bug. Not alone

Have an issue when creating animated subtitles. Creating subtitles from audio works great, but if any changes are made for corrections in timing/spelling/etc. they only work without animating the subtitle. As soon as animated subtitles are created, any changes made revert back to how Resolve originally created them. The changes show in the inspector window, but not on screen. if I remove the fusion subtitle, the changes still show correctly in the inspector window and on screen. Apply any of the animated subtitles again (which takes two or three attempts at dragging the effect on the track) and the subtitles go right back to the original not showing any changes on screen.
