V19 Training Books

PostThu Aug 22, 2024 11:01 am

Can anyone advise how long after the release of a new version the associated training books usually appear?

I appreciate that it takes time and eg Adobe Press Classroom in a book training for Premier Pro can take months so that they only have a shelf life of weeks before the next new version comes along.

But I’m only just starting on my training and not sure whether to wait a few weeks and start with v19 or stick with v18.6 and use the existing v18 books. I have other training that will keep me busy over the next few weeks anyway.

Thanks for any replies.

I will be continuing with the current training books myself.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Hello Everybody

I am new in video editing and new in DVR. I started to read the beginners training book to learn how to use this software that seems wonderful.
In the beginning of the book it is written that you have a series of of training book to follow. But on BMD website i can only find the V18 books. Is it normal ? Do you know where (or when i can find the other books ?

— The Colorist Guide to DaVinci Resolve 19
— The Editor’s Guide to DaVinci Resolve 19
— The Fairlight Audio Guide to DaVinci Resolve 19
— The Visual Effects Guide to DaVinci Resolve 19

So what about this sixth one: Advanced Visual Effects in DaVinci Resolve 19
Is there a v18 version somewhere? Only the first five trainings are available.
