Inquiry Regarding HDMI Signal Output with DR

PostWed Apr 16, 2025 10:05 am

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am writing to inquire about an issue I am encountering while trying to output a full range display signal from Davinci Resolve through my UltraStudio to an external monitor. My goal is to transmit the correct HDMI signal to the downstream display.

However, the HDMI signal detected by the display consistently reads as limited range. I am currently unsure about the root cause of this discrepancy and would greatly appreciate any guidance on potential troubleshooting steps or checks I can perform to identify the problem.

For your reference, my system configuration is as follows:

Workstation: Mac mini M4 / macOS Sequoia v15.3.1
Projection Software: Davinci Resolve v19.1.3
Monitor Model: ASUS ProArt PA32UCXR
System Connection: Mac mini connected to UltraStudio 4K mini, which is then connected to the ProArt monitor.
Davinci Resolve Project Settings File: WhitePQ YRGB.drp (Note: Within Davinci Resolve, under "Video Monitoring," the "Data levels" are set to "Full.")
I have also included a link to my Davinci Resolve Project Settings file on Google Drive for your convenience:

Thank you very much for your time and assistance in this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Return to DaVinci Resolve
