I've been using Davinci Resolve since August last year and everything was perfect, 0 issues. I recently upgraded the GPU and power source and i've been using Davinci resolve with the new GPU for an entire month with no issues.
Today Davinci Resolve started lagging and i have no idea why. I can't open anything in the background (like the videogame i need to record whil editing or OBS studio). When i do so, Davinci Resolves just freezes or starts to lagg and i literally need to close everything an restart the program so it can work normally again.
Otherwise everytime i click it takes 5-10 sec for the program to react.
Those are my specs:
GPU: RTX 5070 SOLID 12GB GDDR7 Reflex 2 RTX AI DLSS4
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor, 4201 Mhz.
32GB RAM
Power source: Forgeon Bolt PSU 1000W 80+ Gold Full Modular
Mother board: ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS
The GPU came OC from default. I did not set the OC settings and IDK how to do it. I understand it might be due to an NVIDIA or Windows update that happened today or yesterday, but i have no idea how to solve it. To be honest i am not an expert with computers, i am learning video editing and pc manteinance.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
