DR 19.1.4 - Crashing after implementing audio effects

PostThu Apr 17, 2025 11:57 pm

Hi everyone,

When working in Davinci Resolve on my PC and applying noise reduction to an audio track, nothing unusual happens initially. However, subsequent application of this effect to other project files causes either an instant programme crash or a rendering freeze (and also a crash). Undoing the effects did not help.

I have been trying to solve this problem for two weeks, although a clean install (according to this forum's FAQ, with deleting all folders, creating a backup etc.) did not help. I also tried to go back to the previous DR Version, where everything worked perfectly, but the problem remained. I installed older graphics drivers – same.
I tried to do it with the same DR 19.1.4 on my laptop – no positive changes.

At least I tried to avoid this function, but now I have implemented it and suffered again, because now I have all my project done, but I can save it successfully only with no audio, which is completely unacceptable for me, I think you understand.

No additional OFX plugins installed, the newest DR 19.1.4 and graphics drivers.

Could anyone help me? That would be so nice :)
Best regards,
Ivan
